Tow Genius is an educational planning tool—not a substitute for verified ratings, professional inspection, law, or safe driving judgment. Last updated July 25, 2026.
No safety certification
A Tow Genius score is an estimate based entirely on the information entered. It does not certify that a vehicle-trailer combination is safe, legal, properly equipped, or suitable for a particular trip.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for verifying every number against original vehicle labels, the owner’s manual, hitch and tire ratings, trailer tags, certified scale measurements, and applicable laws. Always follow the most restrictive limit and seek qualified professional help when uncertain.
No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tow Genius disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tow Genius and its operators will not be liable for injury, property damage, towing loss, indirect damages, or decisions made in reliance on the service.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, scrape at harmful volume, or submit unlawful content. We may limit access to protect the service and other users.
Changes
We may change the service or these terms. Continued use after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
